Liberty Field day

Yesterday was field day at Gabrielle's school. Mike arranged for an Apache to land and spend the day there. the Pilots were awesome and spent the day in the rain. All in all the kids at the school loved the Apache. it was awesome watching it land and the kids were all cheering and screaming. Gabbie's class got to go see the Apache first. It was fun listening to all their questions. of course the boys were all baout the guns and rockets and missles. the girls just ran around for the most part. Gabbie was so happy to get so close to one she asked what pretty much every part was. Emily was into the rockets and gun also. she's such a girly girl and a tom boy!

Mike launched the Apache off around 3 Pm. all the kids were asking me why he was hooked to the helicopter. when I started explaining, I looked around and everyone in close rainge was listening to me. good thing I knew what I was talking about! the kids thought his back pack was a parachutte and he was going to stand on the outside of it when they took off. hah. I explained that was his tool back pack, and no he would unplug his head set before it took off.

they did a fly by after they left over the school. was pretty cool. nice and low too.

here are some pics and I will upload a video soon as i edit them.
