house

Well our house is 99% done :) all we have left is the laundry room floor and trim. this video is a shorter version from the original. had to be small to upload. as you can tell- well those of you that have been to our house, our ugly grey-blue carpet is gone. YAY!! and we put in wood floors. all the rooms have fresh paint and new trim. we went white. :) we still need a dining room table, and a new lamp for living room, but that's about it. MIke is almost done with the plumbing in the bathroom.

Next we paint our bedrooms one at a time. Gabbie's will be first. after the rooms are all done, we will put new carpet in them. that's a next summer project. along with painting the outside and a roof over the patio.

Camping Bruneau Dunes State Park

We went camping this weekend with our great friends Theresa, Byron and their children Riley and Katie. We always love to go to Bruneau for our first camping trip of the summer. this year was especially great because we had friends with us. The kid's had a small tent to play in. well ok to hold all their toys in. they played more in the sand then anywhere else. They tried to sneak into the tent traier more then our tent hah. Chloe had a blast and got to swim and hike the dune. Since she's an older lady, she was done faster then we all were. It was hot, but not as hot as it normally is there. We had good eats, groovy music and awesome company. Mike and Byron took the kids fishing and Theresa and I had some down time. which was nice by the way. thanks guys.

Liberty Field day

Yesterday was field day at Gabrielle's school. Mike arranged for an Apache to land and spend the day there. the Pilots were awesome and spent the day in the rain. All in all the kids at the school loved the Apache. it was awesome watching it land and the kids were all cheering and screaming. Gabbie's class got to go see the Apache first. It was fun listening to all their questions. of course the boys were all baout the guns and rockets and missles. the girls just ran around for the most part. Gabbie was so happy to get so close to one she asked what pretty much every part was. Emily was into the rockets and gun also. she's such a girly girl and a tom boy!

Mike launched the Apache off around 3 Pm. all the kids were asking me why he was hooked to the helicopter. when I started explaining, I looked around and everyone in close rainge was listening to me. good thing I knew what I was talking about! the kids thought his back pack was a parachutte and he was going to stand on the outside of it when they took off. hah. I explained that was his tool back pack, and no he would unplug his head set before it took off.

they did a fly by after they left over the school. was pretty cool. nice and low too.

here are some pics and I will upload a video soon as i edit them.

gabrielle's Little leage baseball games

Gabrielle's Little League Baseball

Gabbie is playing Baseball now! she loves it and has a great time. She even hit's them when pitched to her. this is no T-ball! they play 4 innings, and the games are always tied. All the kids seem to enjoy playing. Gabbie even wants to practice after school. So now I am a baseball mom!

Mike's a coach and Emily is the official Tiger's cheerleader. And grandma and I are her biggest fans. She's come to every game. Uncle Kelly has got to come to one too.
